Here’s another you could add to the collection:
“Institutions are set up to sustain the problems to which they are the solution” (Clay Shirky)
I think it’s subtly different from that – “Institutions will seek to preserve…” is not quite the same as “Institutions are set up to sustain…” Good suggestion, though – will make it part of a double number coming soon.
